Next is my newest purchase. A vintage decorative cloche thermometer! Isn't it beautiful? I've never seen one like it before. My daughter spotted it while we were antique shopping this summer. She has a good eye.
This little vignette can be found on my coffee table. I transformed this huge chandelier glass lamp into a cloche. On the top I just added a glass drawer knob and some white decorative knob plates and voila! I love how the glass has these decorative lines going down and all the way around. Makes it look like a bird cage, don't you think?
I'm a bird lover, especially love birds. Aren't they the cutest?Inside the cloche you can find a nest with two little eggs. I found the nest in my hedges this summer while trimming them. Fortunately the birdie family had already moved out.
A great big thank you goes out to the gracious and lovely Marty for hosting this wonderful Fall Cloche Party.
