Christmas Craft

As I was working on this year's Treasured Ornament, which by the way is just about completed, I was inspired to make a little something else.

I was using my awesome Cricut Machine to cut out some snowflake shapes for our ornament when I got this new inspiration.

Love my Cricut!

I cut three sets of the snowflakes and their shadows.

I also cut out the word "JOY" in this pretty red paper.

I then glued the snowflake to its shadow and a letter to each completed snowflake.
After I finished all three of my snowflakes I cut little slits on each side so I could run some ribbon through it to create this....

My little Christmas Joy Garland

So what do you think?

Oh! See my beautiful angel? It was a gift from my very dear and sweet blogging friend Jacque from Campagne Maison. Thank you again Jacque. I absolutely love her. Click on Jacque's blog name to go over for a visit. She loves company.

Well everyone, there are 9 days until Christmas. Are you stressing yet? I know there is so much to do before the Big Day, but please remember to take a few moments to reflect on the wonderful and true meaning of Christmas, Jesus!

Have a wonderfully joyful Wednesday everyone.

Until next time.

Blessings.

Hugs and Kisses,

Bonjour Ana, WHAT A SURPRISE!! As I was reading your post about JOY..SOMETHING that has been on my mind and bottled up in my spirit for the past couple of weeks! I have been so overwhelmed with health issues and finding myself the caretaker to my husband and my mother, that I totally forget to take care of MOI....so, I have let myself get boggled down with outside issues and forgotten to look for my JOY....my strength from God(Neh 8:10) Yesterday, I wept most of the day, I guess my soul needed that cleansing. As I was reading in Psalm 16 this morning, verse 11 really ministered to me! In HIS presence is fullness of JOY!! Today, I will use those scriptures as my sword because I believe that your post has REinforced the word this morning.

Your little JOY banner is really pretty! I have seen those machines in Hobby Lobby but I do not have one. They seem to be the ideal tool for crafters!! That Angel looks sweet where you have put her and I am so glad that you like her!

I love all your blogs about your Christmas ornaments. I wish that I would have thought to do that over the past years! You are so full of clever ideas.

Blessing for a wonderful holiday season and for keeping CHRIST in Christmas.

Ana: I love what you have created. I have not invested in the Cricut yet...I'm afraid to. LOL. I fear that I will do nothing by play with it all day long. Your Joy snowflakes look wonderful. Isn't Jacque the best! Sea Witch

Beautiful project Ana. It looks lovely on the oval mirror with the garland and Angel.

Stress? Me? You betcha I'm stressed. I've only got a couple of days left to shop and wrap before my kids are out of school. Every year I say I will be more prepared next year...

It will all come together somehow though and in a little over a week I'll be wishing next Christmas was already here!
Hugs,
Dawn

Ana, that is absolutely the prettiest banner. I wasn't sure what a 'circut'was, but I had heard other bloggers talking about theirs. I didn't know it did such wonderful things as this! YOur home is so lovely and is so festive. I just loved seeing the beautiful reflection in the mirror.
