Romantic Homes

It's Romantic Homes show and tell time.

I think that out of all the monthly issues the two that I really, really, really look forward to each year are, February's for Valentine's and December for Christmas. I think they are the ones that have the most beautiful and romantic ideas and pictures.

And this year's December issue was no exception.

Just take a look at these pictures of a beautiful home decorated all in pinks and pastel colors for Christmas.

I've noticed while visiting some of your blogs that many of you have also decorated in pink...I love it. I think it's very romantic, sweet and tres chic. I Pink.

How beautiful is this mantel? Love all the little houses. Gorgeous mirror too.

Oh I just love the white Christmas tree. It's so very shabby chic!

So what's your Christmas color scheme this year?

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Wishing you an awesome day.

Blessings.

Hi Ana, I have 4 years worth of Romantic Homes, and have been scouring the pages of the Christmas issues for ideas! I love the pinks but I would have to start all over and buy new decorations! I found a fair compromise though, by using berry colors...not quite pink, but not red, either...it works. My granddaughter has a pink tree in her room and she loves it!

I think your living room and tree are the prettiest of them all!

Have a great day, Ana!

Hello Ana, oooh, those photos are all of my dear friend Janet's home of Shabbyfufu!!! Aren't they just gorgeous!!! I posted my little Putz houses I bought from her on one of my recent posts... I am having major problems with Blogger today... no ones blogs are feeding through and neither is mine... I just decided to check yours and see if you had a new post ... have you had any trouble with blogs feeding through... I am going through withdrawals!... Love to you... Bisous... Julie Marie

Oh what beautiful pictures and such fabulous inspiration. It's nice to see something other than the traditional red and green. Also I hope you will join us for the "Holiday Cloche Party". I will have Mr. Linky up tonight. Hugs, Marty

those pink images are lovely~ I loved scrolling down and seeing your beautiful Christmas tree! I love how each person's tree is so different because it shows people's personalities. Mine has shredded burlap and starfish on it.

Hi Ana,
I have been looking for the Dec issue of Romantic Homes and can't find it anywhere?? I have all the same houses that are on the fireplace but I put them on my hutch in the dining rm, I love all the pic's and makes me want the mag even more! I have decorated with a touch of pink but was trying to stick with creams and whites, I also have the white tree(which I haven't put up yet) that I used last yr and was planning on getting a real one this yr but the pic here made me think maybe I should just put my white one up, decisions, dicisions (:

I am definitely gonna be on the hunt now for the holiday magazines that will be coming out around here. We always get things really late -- never a month of ahead of time like in the States. I love all the images from the magazine you posted. and somehow I missed your Christmas tree posting! I love it! And I love that burgandy wall with the white furniture. My kinda color scheme. Wishing you a wonderful day. Blessings, :) Tammy Love your new blog look, too

Hello Ana! What lovely pictures! Everything is so color coordinated! I would love for my decorations to look like that but would be expensive to change everything out...guess we have to do it systematically over time. Over the past few years I have got away from the homespum county check look and gone more glittery and crystally. It seems like a few short years ago I was so primitive country in my decorating....I love the new change! It helps to be inspired by you and other romantic bloggers!~Hugs, Patti

Oh my gosh! I think I may have died and gone to heaven!!!
I love EVERYTHING that you showed us. Everything.
I wish so much I could do more decorating in pink.
There is just too many men in this house!!! It would feel wrong.
My daughters room used to be pink but we changed it this past year to yellow. I love yellow too!

Well as you know. I had to begin again this year with decorations and chose to go with red and gold.
Perhaps next year I will get a small white tree and start up a "romantic" one for myself!
Thanks so much for the wonderful ideas.
Loved them all.
