Home Project: Petite Update Part 2

Hi Everyone!

I'm so glad you dropped by for a visit today because I have something exciting to share with you. Yes! It's another petite update on our current home project.

I know it's been a while since I first shared this with you but, do you remember our downstairs room flooding and the carpet and wall being ruined? And do you remember me convincing my hubby to put in a patio door?

Well, it has gone from this.....

To this....

To this!

As you can see, there is still sooooo much to do and it's progress has been very, very slow. Slowly but surely I'd say. But, I know that in the end it will be all totally worth it.

Oh! I almost forgot to tell you that on Sunday we finally got our flooring, Yay!....If you are wondering why so many boxes for one room.... Well, it's because we have decided to redo the whole downstairs. Yay, again!

(In case I haven't mentioned this before, our home is a split level cottage. Downstairs we have two large rooms, one is hubby's and my little love nest and the other is our family/TV room. Upstairs is the rest of out cute little cottage....Just thought you'd like to know☺)

Please keep checking back for more updates. Can't wait to have more to share.

Thank you again for stopping by and I do hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Happy Monday to everyone.

Blessings.

Hugs and Kisses,

Hello, sweet friend,
It looks like your remodeling is going very well. Your new patio door looks wonderful and will allow so much sunshine into the room. The wood flooring will be wonderful, too. I would love to rip up my carpet and put down the wood flooring. Enjoy your week, Ana, and I look forward to seeing all the newest updates! Vicki

Ana, this is a wonderful addition. You'll enjoy the light and access. Great job! I know it's difficult to live with construction.

Ana, I love your patio door. I have hardwood floors in my house and I wouldn't have anything else. They are much easier to keep clean then the carpet. Your finish project is going to be well worth the wait. Take care.

Hi Ana, I love the new french door, it makes the room look wonderful. Also we slowly room by room took up all of the carpet in our house and laid down oak flooring and we still love it. You are going to love your new flooring, I have never regretted it.

Have fun, Maureen

Nice redo. Love the windows with all the sunlight coming in. Love the hard wood floors too. We have hard wood in most of our home... on the bath, kitchen and dining are different. I can imagine you will have fun decorating your new room.
Blessings!

Ana amor, how beautiful your new doors look, so much light coming in, with the sunshine we are having now, I bet it must look beautiful :) Your floors are going to look amazing! woohoo the whole downstairs ;) you lucky duck! I am waiting to see what will happen with our house, to finish up the floors in our kitchen and sunroom, I already have hardwood floors that are original to our 1916 home, so I am hoping to redo them in a darker warmer color this summer :) Besos, Rose
