Hi Everyone!

I'm still here...

I haven't been feeling like myself lately. Haven't had the energy to do much, but today I gathered just enough to pop in to say hello and to show you my hydrangeas. Yay!

About a year ago I did a post on how much I love hydrangeas and how I use to grow some. Anyway, of all the plants I had only one little cutting survived... (Click here if you would like to read the story)

I didn't think this little guy would make it. There was no signs of life until last year when it filled up with beautiful green leaves....but no flowers :-(

But look at it now....Yay!

The two pictures above were taken a few days ago...I'm so excited!

The next pictures are of today. The blossoms are getting bigger. I cannot wait to see what color they're going to be. You see, I had two different color hydrangea plants, a fuchsia and lavender and I can't remember of which one this is from...Makes it even more exciting. Don't you think?

Grow little flower, grow!

What color do you think it'll be?

To be continued....

Hugs and Kisses,

I hope you will feel better soon. He looks like he might be white or blue. I love hydrangeas, but never had luck growing them. Hope you have a Happy Mothers Day.

I love growing things. Hydrangeas and I have not been very compatible, however. I've heard it has to do with the soil and ph factor or something. (Not sure if that's my ph level or the soil's--Ha, ha...)

I so want some hydrangeas!! Would you be able to tell me how you grew yours from a cutting? Did you use root stimulator - use plastic to tent it?
There is an old hydrangea bush in our neighbor hood that I would love to get some cuttings and try this!

hope your feeling perky real soon!

I'm so happy for you...I hate to lose any of my little plant friends. My husband lost his favorite Tropicana Rose this past winter...He is almost on suicide watch...kidding!!!

Also my favorites. I'm as excited for you to see the color blossoms as I am to see them. Once these plants take hold they will double in size each year so you are on your way. Hope you are feeling better quickly, I adore your posts. Sea witch

Oh how pretty! I can't wait to see what color it's going to be. I have a hydrangea that I thought was not going to make it and this year it is doing wonderful! It looks like it's going to be pink:) I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day, my friend.

Ana I can't wait to see what color it is. I need to take cuttings of my own to make more. Sandy from Tenn. sent me cuttings from her heirloom hydrangea a couple weeks ago and so far it is doing well. I hope it can live in my cold climate here in Idaho.
It's great to hear from you. I hope you get feeling better. I am so sorry to hear that you have been feeling badly.
Big hug today,
June

Love, love, love hydrangeas (just like my cousin Gwen who was the last to post here, I see) :) I hope it will be lavendar as that's my favorite color of the group. Hope that you are feeling more like yourself. We all go through times, days like that. You've been a busy bee with all the makeovers and renovations. Probably just need some time to rejuvenate. Have a great weekend. Blessings, Tammy (love your header and background too)

Congratulations for your baby bloom... have you fertilized her?? If it is in a pot it`ll be a good thing to apply some, then you will have many blooms...

Ana, I'm so sorry to hear that you've not been well. I hope you are feeling well enough to enjoy Mother's Day tomorrow. Because I know you are a wonderful mom.
I adore hydrangeas too, I think yours will be...light pink!!! I think it will surprise you, depending on the acidity of the soil it could be a different color from the original bush.
I have wanted one for so long, but from what I have seen of my neighbors bushes, they don't grow well here. I think the Winters are too harsh.
Have a beautiful Mother's Day, my sweet friend.
Hugs, Cindy S
