A Tiny Break From Decorating

Happy Monday Everyone!

In between all my Christmas decorating...which by the way I have not even come close to finishing, I decided I would take a tiny break and do a bit of "gardening."

I have always wanted to grow some of these bulbed flowers so yesterday while at Trader Joe's I picked up this kit that came with a Paperwhite flower bulb, compressed potting mix and a container.

I have decided to use my own container however.

Grow, little flower, grow.

Well, back to my decorating. Hope to be able to show you some pictures soon...In the meantime you can get a little sneak peek at our Christmas tree in the background of the last two pictures...It's just a tiny peek :-)

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and may this new week be filled with the joy, happiness and beauty of this season.

Blessings.

Hugs and Kisses,

Hi, Ana,
Those paper whites will be so pretty. Look forward to seeing them when they bloom. I love the idea of planting them in a pretty tea cup. Your Christmas tree is looking wonderful, too. Thank you for the sweet Thanksgiving greeting that you sent me. Have a blessed week, my friend~love always~Vicki

I can't believe it. Hubby and I was over at Lowes yesterday looking for some christmas lights and I saw some of these. I was going to get one, but got distracted on something else. I will have to go back and see if they have some left.

Yours will look so lovely in that cup.

OMGosh, I've always wanted to do this too!
My MIL just bought some at a Christmas Boutique we went to, the lady sold them in pretty Christmasy containers but I want to start my own in a container of my choosing too.

Besitos,
Irma

Ana,
I just bought my first amaryllis to plant. I planted it in the boring plastic pot it came in, but I have been looking our for something better to put it in, I wonder if a teacup would be too small for the big bulb... anyway, my dear, I love your's in the cup and look forward to seeing the blooms. I am having a give away, come have a look.
Blessings~

Hi Ana, love your new holiday look. Everyone always talks about paperwhites and having success planting them in all sorts of pretty containers. I don't think I've ever seen them around here. :/ I cannot believe that tomorrow is the 1st of December. Where, or where, does the time go? Have a great rest of the week. :) Tammy
