Sigh....

Christmas has once again come and gone...And way too fast if you ask me. I can't help but feel a little blue.

As I sit here and think of what to write my next post about I find myself staring at my empty idea board above my computer...

I begin to feel a little excited once again in anticipation for what is to come. The new year is just around the corner and for me it always means new beginnings, a fresh new start...Which is why I always clear my board up at the end of the year. I love to fill it up as the new year progresses with new ideas, inspiring pictures and quotes, projects to do, sweet memories, etc. As I sit here and stare at the board I'm reminded that there is still so much to look forward to and the excitement for the hope that I feel for this coming year begins to stir inside me, slowly pushing those blues away.... I can't wait.

Here's to an awesome new week and an equally awesome new year for everyone.

Blessings to all.

Hugs and Kisses,

Hello dear Ana, I was thinking about making a new start on my board as well, but first I must clear my space a little. Have a lovely New Year's celebration, and a wonderful 2011!!

I'm always sad after the holidays.. actually it starts christmas day after all the presents are opened and we're all done visiting family.
I hate the thought of taking the tree down and the lights and the pretty decorations.
It all is so bare and cold after christmas.. until valentines day and even then it's no where near as good as christmas.

The holidays take so much preparation, all that excitement and anticipation and then they're over with in a flash. It can give me the blues too. I think I'll take your advice and start looking forward to the New Year & hope that I can chase the blues away. Have a wonderful week!

Hi Ana, I had a melancholy mood on Christmas Day but now it is gone. I should clear away the old as organization is top of my list of things to accomplish but it just takes so much time so I keep putting it off. Procrastinating is also something I need to kick to the curb. :) Wishing you much peace, love and joy today and every day. Tammy

Hi Ana...

Hope your Christmas was grand.... Yep, my idea board is empty too... No...really, really empty. I have the frame but haven't made it yet. :-)

Can't wait to see what you're up to.

Huggies,

Hello my sweet friend,
Thanks so much for the gorgeous card with your beautiful family photo!!! I love it, it really makes me feel like we are FRIENDS in real life, too. I know that sounds silly, but I think you know what I mean.
All the best in 2011!!!
Love and hugs, Cindy

I love the idea of clearing the bulletin board at the end of the year. I have never thought of doing that. I do ask myself a lot of "what" questions. What was my most joyous occasion in 2010, What needs to be changed to make myself more productive...etc.

I love your board. Did you just buy cork by the yard and put it in a frame?
