Cute Planter

I saw the cutest planters ever at a craft fair we went to last fall. They were made simply out of old chairs and some chicken wire. I knew I had all the necessary items to make one at home plus my hubby offered to make it for me soooo...

Of course I took him up on it right away and had him work on it the following day....

After it was all done it was my turn to finish it up...Unfortunately it took me 5 months to decide what to plant in it...

Finally this weekend I planted this Bloomingdale that was a gift from our sweet friends Tony and Lally.

You can tell the chair has been sitting outside for a while since my hubby put it together for me...

So weathered and chippy...Just the way I like it.

Starting to look a little more Springy around our petite cottage...Yay!

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Wishing everyone a fantabulous new week.

Blessings.

Hugs and Kisses,

Hello dear Ana,
What a lovely planter and thank you for the great idea! I found a really old, really weathered chair in someone's garbage last year and I pulled it out and took it home. Well...I did not know what to do with it, I just knew I loved it. Now I know what to do with it!
If mine can be even half as lovely as yours, I will be supremely happy!!!
I need to catch up a bit here, I have been too busy to do much visiting lately.
Love and hugs, Cindy

Querida Ana,

I love it! It reminds me of the planter chair I had sitting out on my porch in Moreno Valley.
I can't even recall where that cute little chair ended up, I'm sure it found a good home somewhere.

Kisses,
Irma

Oh, I love the planter. And leaving it out in the weather for several months made it even more beautiful. It is so clever. Thanks for sharing. Karie

I love this Ana! I haven't made a planter from an old chair yet, but I do use then in the garden as plant supports and I love the look.
I love your pretty little dress form...and oh my goodness, your new chandys are so lovely. And what a steal you got them for!
sending hugs

Ana.... how are you? I love, love, love your new planter. So creative and so cute. I miss being out in blogland. I started a new full time job and just after that was in the ER and hospitalized for a couple of days. Work didn't agree with me. LOL... I'm just now catching up on my fav blogs... and wanted to tell you... BEE-U-T-FUL... just like you. Happy Spring.
