Cabinet Knobs: Before and After

A few weeks back I gave our petite loo a petite makeover...

The makeover included the bathroom sink cabinet door knobs...Whew, that was a mouth full...Hee, hee, hee. Anyway, this it what they looked like before. (Above)

A coat of black spray paint and a then a coat of green paint, a bit of distressing and antiquing and here you have it. The round knob is the original one and I just added the back piece you see. Found the back pieces for 65 cents at the thrift store. They were originally a brass color.

Hmmmm, now I'm thinking the cabinet might be in need of a makeover too :-)

So what do you think of the new knobs?

**For all who read and commented on my last post...Thank you for stopping by and for your caring comments. Oh, and don't worry, I already had the pictures for this post so I didn't have to be on my feet :-)

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend.

Hugs and Kisses,

Very creative and certainly dressed up the cabinet. I'm in the process of redoing a bathroom vanity so I appreciate the inspiration!

Such a simple change but does make a big difference. Looks great! I just read your previous post. I sure hope that with rest, your swelling will go down and all will be well. It does seem that such things tend to last a bit longer than when we were younger. :/ I twisted my ankle while walking and it stayed swollen for quite some time. My husband had the same problem recently. Wishing you all the best. Tammy

They look lovely! I love the pop of green that they bring & the scrolly design is so pretty.

I was all set to yell at you for being up, with a screwdriver in hand, changing knobs when you're supposed to be relaxing. Glad you clarified that this was done beforehand so I don't have to yell at you.

Hope you're feeling better each day.
