Three Loves Combined...

If you've been following my blog for a while...(Thank you, how very sweet of you.)... then you may already know that I love to reuse and repurpose. I'm always looking for new ways to give old items new life. You may also know that I love to sew, and you may also know how much I love everything vintagey... Well, today I wanted to show you how I've combined all three of these loves together...

I took some vintage sewing patterns and made these pretty paper flowers out of them.

I used both the tissue part of the pattern and the instructions. (Used the instruction pages to make the rose.)

I think they turned out sew pretty...Don't you? :-)

Hope you're having a fantabulous summer.
Stay creative everyone!

Hugs and Kisses,

I love them. I have a real love of pattern tissue paper but I never thought of using the instruction paper, that is brilliant. Thanks so much for sharing this.

Oh Ana, this is soooo pretty! By far, the prettiest paper flower I've seen anywhere. The pattern idea was genius. Then as if the flower wasn't pretty enough, you bundled it together with the books...aaah, I love it all!
