Easter Crafts

Hi Everyone!

Today I'm excited to share with you, two Easter crafts I've been working on for our fireplace.

The first is my Easter mantel banner.

It was fairly simple to make. I just cut little triangles from some vintage music sheet and used my Cricut for the black medallions and letters. And to hold it all together I used some jute rope and that was it. Pretty simple, right?

The second craft project I created was this interchangeable wreath.

Interchangeable? Yes, the disks in the center are interchangeable...Here, I'll show you what I mean.

I put black felt in the center of the wreath and some hook and loop (the hook part only) on the back of the disks... And voila, I can easily change the disks for different occasions. So far I've only made an Easter disk and an all occasion one, but I want to make one for Christmas, Halloween, maybe a birthday one...Wow, the possibilities are endless.

I would love to hear what you think?

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.
Wishing you a very happy and creative new week.

Hugs and Kisses,

Hi Ana,
I love them, I have always wanted to make a paper banner. I sewed one once and bought one from a follow blogger that said EASTER. Banners are so happy and festive I think. I love your roses!
This weekend I worked on a baby quilt for my niece, I have so much sewing to do I think all my weekends are going to be tied up with sewing projects for next month or so.
Have a sweet week and big hugs, Elizabeth

Good Morning Ana!

I love it!!! You know, since my children have left the nest and the grandchildren aren't around, I don't decorate for Holidays like I once did. I should get back into the mood, if nothing else but for MOI!

This post makes me want to make a banner! Thanks for sharing.

Ana, Your Easter wreath and banner are wonderful. What a great idea to make it so that it can change for all the seasons. I especially love what the banner says, "risen." I haven't decorated for Easter yet. I'm a little late, but you have really given me some inspiration here. Thank you, Ana. Have a sweet day.
