Repurposed Shelf

I picked up this pretty little shelf at a shop called The Paris Flea Market while on vacation.

The moment I saw it I knew what I wanted to use it for and it was not for its intended purpose.

I really didn't have to do anything to it but turn it upside down.

And voila, an instant decorative platter/tray holder.

So what do you think?

I love your find! What a perfect re-purpose. My collection of silver trays and ironstone plates are sitting atop my microwave because of my lack of counter space. You've created a beautiful display!
