Pallet Box

Hello my sweet blogging friends.

Today I would like to share with you the second project I've been working on...A box made out of an old pallet.

Well, to be totally honest, all I really did on this project was the sanding, finishing and decorating...Hubby did the hard and scary parts...the sawing, drilling and hammering. Oh wait! I also did the bit of nagging persuading it took to get the hubs to help. Hee, hee, hee.

In case you're wondering where I got the pallet to make the box...Well, a few months ago hubby bought something online and it was delivered on a pallet.  Lucky moi!
I found these beautiful vintage drawer pulls at a thrift store for mere pennies and thought they would make the perfect handles and accents to my box.

I love the rustic beauty of it and love how it turned out...Hubby and I do make a great team.

Thank you all for stopping by for a visit.
Let me know what you think of my our project :-)

Hugs and Kisses,

Fabulous idea & creation Ana. The pulls are the perfect accent. I know the feeling about 'persuasion'.

I've been wanting one of these! I wish I could make it by myself, but, alas, I need hubby's help. I have so many projects for him, that this one always go to the bottom of the list. I love how you added the vintage pulls! Perhaps I'll ask for one for my birthday!

Ha ha ha, I see a few of us have to "persuade" our husbands to help us, LOL, alas, that is why I have so many unfinished projects!

Yours turned out GREAT!! What a great idea!! Love it!!

Hi Ana, I like your pallet box. I have access to the wooden pallets working at a lumber yard. I just need a person to put one together for me as my hubby would be unable to. You just gave me and idea. I want to make a square one to use for small things when I go to a craft show. Thank you for sharing. May I use your idea. Have a great day. Your Missouri Friend.

Very fun project! And just think, you are saving the earth by recycling the wood pallet. I'm guessing you've got a lot of pallet wood left. Looks like more projects in store for your hubby!

What a neat idea! I have seen so many creations with the pallet but I really like yours. And the little drawer pull or knob is the perfect touch to make this look like a work of art.

Super cute idea, Ana! It turned out so sweet and so nice that your husband built it for you! Now that I just got rid of a pallet, I'm seeing some good ideas for using them, but yours is the best!
