Repurposed tie rack

In a few more days my daughter goes back to school...HER SENIOR YEAR IN HIGH SCHOOL! Yikes! I can't believe it went by soooo fast. Anyway, we've been getting ready and organized. One of the things she is always complaining about in the mornings, when she is getting ready for school, is about sorting through a mess of tangled necklaces so....
One day while thrift shopping, I came across this tie rack for only 65 cents. When I saw it, that little light bulb over my head went off.
Wasn't too sure if it would work, but for 65 cents I thought it was worth a try, and it did...Yay!
I envisioned it painted to match her room decor but she insisted it was perfect just the way it was...Easy enough. So what do you think?

Thank you so much for stopping by for a sweet visit.
Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend.

I think it is the perfect solution to a tangled mess of necklaces. Great repurpose!

And you don't look old enough to have a daughter that's a senior in high school!

I think it's awesome! I also think that only someone as clever as you could have thought of using a tie rack for a necklace holder.

Any idea for organizing is great! I have a ceramic hook hanger on the back of our bedroom door that I use for my necklaces -- as well as a plastic hanging organizer -- but it's still not enough. I have tons of jewelry, mostly big and chunky rather than pretty and delicate like the ones your daughter has. :) Have a wonderful weekend. Tammy

Such a great idea, Ana! I think all of us girls need a special holder like that to hang our necklaces.
