Made with Love

A few weeks back was our sweet little god-daughter's Baptism and I was allowed the awesome privilege of designing and creating her gown...
I put a lot of love and detail into it.
I made it out of a light, pure white, cotton muslin...perfect for the warm weather we were having.
Some machine embroidery along with a hand embroidered daisy flower in the center with petite pearls as accents.
Her initial at the hem of the skirt...And the best part, I think, is that it was...
Two dresses in one. Long gown for the ceremony and once that was over...Slip the long skirt off and voila, you have a sweet little dress that she could wear for the rest of the day. What do you think?

Hope you come back again soon...I want to show you something else I made a few weeks ago in anticipation of the arrival of another sweet baby girl...Til then.

Wishing everyone a wonderfully creative new week.

Hugs and Kisses,

I think she's so blessed for having you in her life.
So much more in that gown besides what you stated - the illusion, the love, the homage...
A Sweet little treasure to celebrate and honor a very important day in C's Life. So glad they chose you for Godmother.
Blessings,
Teresa

Such a brilliant idea to have the two in one. Your work is perfection. I love the cool crispness of cotton for a Baptism. xx
