A Little Bit of Red

Hello Everyone!

For my next "I Luv s" post I wanted to show you something with a little more color. Something with a little more of the traditional red color used so much for Valentine's Day...
Hee, hee, hee...I did say a little. My hubby bought this cute little heart and "I Love You" sign for me a few years back...He's so sweet. But I must confess that I've been thinking of painting the sign another color, maybe white or black, and removing the little hearts on the springs so that I may be able to use it anytime of the year...What do you think?

Thank you so much for stopping by today.
Wishing you all a very lovely weekend.

Hugs and Kisses,

I think the red really makes a splash...pretty,but then it would be nice to have it out all year...either way it is still a sweet reminder :) Blessings

Oh my I would be struggling with the "to paint or not to paint" question also. I love the pop of cheery color. Sometimes it is fun to have a few of those sentimental little pieces around for some touches of cheer. Maybe you could find something similar that wouldn't need to be painted when you take that down.
I LOVE the arrangement though.

Ok, I'm biased on this... I've been sick home and spending way too much time on pinterest... said that, if I don't see hearts or red for a while... I love that sign, but even if I thought it is sweet - too sweet, specially it was a gift from The Mister ;) - I love the idea of giving the touch and use it all year round in some of your lovely vignettes.

I would love to see that declaration pop from time to time; and if in red it could put you off a bit, but then too much pinterest, remember?!

Just stopped by to wish you a lovely and sunny weekend. Take Care of My Friend,
Teresa

You won't be surprised that I'm voting for red, will you? Love the photo with a "little" bit of color, Ana!

Cute sign! Sweet hubby! I can understand you're wanting to paint it to make it more versatile. Either way, I think it'll be great!

It is such a cute sign but I personally love having these 'special' things that I only get to put out at certain times of the year so my vote would be keep it as is :)

Hi, sweet girl,
I love that bit of red in your home. How sweet of your dear hubby to buy that cute sign for you, too. I love the little heart pillows you made and also the pillow with the heart buttons. All perfect for you and your darling home. Enjoy your week as we celebrate that special day of love! Sending love to you~Vicki

Hi Ana, it would look lovely in white or black, or even grey. I love it in red because I love red. But you could more readily use it in another colour!

I have been scrolling back through your other I Love You posts and I have to say my favorites are the button heart pillow and sign. I am home for a few days with a husband recuperating from surgery and I think I am going to be Miss Copy Cat and make a little button heart project.

I just really looked at your blog header and I am going to do some more copying. I like how your little shoe mold (is that what they are called) and your hand are both holding something. I am going to do that tonight.

Happy Monday
