The Key

Two years ago my mom and dad celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary.
I asked my mom what the key to a long lasting marriage was and she said...
Love, Respect and lots and lots of Patience...
I know my dad very well so I know exactly what she means Hee, hee, hee. Love you Dad.
Today is our 22nd Wedding Anniversary and I must say we're still living our Happily Ever After.
Great advice Mom and thanks for being an awesome role model.

Happy Anniversary Babe! Love you tons.

Hugs and Kisses,

Being Beautiful helps.
You lucked out, Dear Friend but that amazing Guy won the Jackpot that day.
Wishing you, both of you and all those you touch with your ways and Love, a Forever of Happy and Loving Times.
Happy Anniversary Sweet Ana and Luckiest Man in the World.
Yours,
Teresa

PS - the Patience might be true. One day at our Church a very sweet Couple celebrated their 50th Anniversary. My husband, really enjoys the husband (he's that typical New Orleans black Guy with graying hair, soft manners and witty humor. Do you know the type?) and at the end of the ceremony husband decided to congratulate them and asked the man "what's the secret?" and he replied, after a sigh, "Much Patience" ahahahahahahah Of course my husband jokes that the brotherly sigh meant the man knew my ways ahahahah but I understand perfectly what it means. It's a patience that makes us wait. For a good day. For that loving gesture that will makes us melt. For the forever that Lord Is designing for us. Side by side. Hand in hand.

Ana, your mother is beautiful, and you look so much like her! Happy Anniversary, my friend. This is really good advice, and I especially liked the "respect" part because it's so true. It will be 35 years for us this year, and hasn't been easy at all hehe, but love always sees us through. This is a treasured picture of your mom and dad, so lovely. I wish you many more years of joy, Ana. You deserve so much goodness in life.
