Industrial Chic TV Stand

Hi Everyone!

This is the next project from our family/television/movie and t.v. show memorabilia room that I would like to share with you. It is our industrial chic television stand....All hand crafted by Hubby.

He used left over pieces of wood he had laying around from other projects, pipes he order on-line, some chicken-wire, a couple of hinges, screws to hold everything together (and a few for decorative touches)  and  a couple of door knobs we had left over from our our kitchen remodel. I love it!
Best part is that all the lovely components that we've accumulated for use with the television are nicely tucked away in the cabinet below. The chicken-wire makes it possible to use the components without having to open the door...Cool, right?
And here is Hubby when he was hard at work making the piece...So proud of him.
Next time I'll be sharing the shelving unit framing the tv stand. Can't wait for you to see it.

Until next time.
Wishing you a wonderful new week.

Hugs and Kisses,

It looks great and I like how you can hide things in the compartments. We have some great Hubby's that can build things for us don't we. HA! HA!

The industrial look is really versatile and goes with the cottage look very well. We have a great antique shop in town that melds many looks together and the industrial look really shines! HAVE FUN, ANA! Anita

Wow! You and your hubby are so clever and talented to come up with the idea, Ana! Great piece, and I can't wait to see the rest! Our piano was moved to our youngest daughter's home on Monday, so eventually I'd like to come up with a new idea for our tv, too. Eventually. :o)

Amazing! Your husband really did a good job on that TV stand! It looks so stylish and unique, you wouldn’t think it was DIY’d at first glance. Anyway, thanks for sharing your home improvement projects, and I hope to read more of them in the future. Good day!
