H appy Monday everyone! Today I will be sharing my latest project tackled. It's sort of a small project. It's a mini makeover I gave this beautiful gold colored frame. I bought this frame especially for a Christie Repasy print my hubby gave me last Christmas. It took me awhile to find it because not just any old frame would do. After all it would be framing a "Repasy".

Then one day I found it...perfect size , style and price at a thrift store. Can you believe I only paid $1.50!!!

And can you believe the original price was $39.99?!

I wasn't too thrilled with the gold finish so I decided to shabby chic it...I painted it white.

I think it's much better now.

I love white paint! Isn't it amazing what a little time and a little paint can do!

Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit.

I do hope you enjoyed your stay and that you will drop on by again real soon.

Have a wonderful Monday!

Very pretty Ana!! That pic is so sweet. Those things happen to me all the time--I hunt and hunt and hunt, then one day--they FIND ME!! AND, don't that make it worth the wait?

Much better. Would you believe I actually had a giveaway last year with a Repasy? She is so talented.

Well done! They fit perfectly together. I also like how you displayed the little bird in front of it. I have yet to own a Repasy painting, but I really, really, really want one! Thanks for the inspiration.

Ana, I can't read any of the comments left for you on this post...maybe that was your intent, but wanted you to know, in case! Love your frame...I bought a similar gold frame at a thrift store, and I now I need the painting...I love your birds, and the frame painted white is perfect! Mary

Hi Mary,
I'm sorry about that. I didn't notice until I came to read my comments. I was messing with my blog font and background colors and I must have picked a very light color for the font by mistake. Oops! It's fixed now. Thanks for letting me know.

You're welcome! I was going to tell you, too, that hubby said he would go with me to Christy Repasy's shop in southern Ca. for a week-end for our anniversary in Nov...guess what I'm going to ask him to buy for me! I hope one like yours is available for me...I mean purchase!
