The Big Reveal!

W elcome everyone to our Big Reveal. As promised, after working very hard and as fast as we could this last week, our Summer Project is finally ready to be revealed! Yay!

Do you remember what we started out with?

Getting a little closer! Laying down the floor was phase 1 of our Summer Project. Check out my Big Summer Project Update post to see how this all began. And now.....The Big Reveal!

Drum Roll Please.....

And here it is! Our new favorite spot.

I can't believe we did it!

Isn't it beautiful? I love it.

Can you believe it was all done for less than $100?!

The patio floor tiles were given to us by my wonderful dad-in-law. They were left over tiles from one of his own home projects. The patio canopy was handcrafted by my handy hubby out of left over wood from a previous project.

I already had most of the accessories and the patio set you see here...I just gave the patio set a fresh coat of paint. I always keep white paint handy because as my observant husband is fond of reminding me, I'm always painting something in our home white.

We did all the work ourselves, so really all the money spent went towards some hardware and the fabric for the scalloped canopy and curtains, which by the way I sewed myself.

And this is what it looks like at night...Isn't it romantic?

I just wanted to thank my wonderful husband for all the hard work and love he put into this project. Thank you for bringing my vision to life! I Love You!

Thank you all for joining us for our reveal.

Hope you enjoyed your stay. Come back an visit again real soon.

Have a wonderful day.

OMG...Ana...IT IS GORGEOUS!! What a wonderful outdoor space. I love everything. THOSE curtains are the "piece de resistance" did a fabulous job making those.

That is the kind of project that I truly love--taking leftovers from other projects and using them to complete another. It goes to prove that all it takes is a little IMAGINATION and a little sweat and lots of LOVE, to turn something bland into something spicy (and romantic--LOL).

Great job hubby and all the other helpers! I just love Ana and her ideas.

Thanks for sharing!

It sure is beautiful, wow! I love the way the curtains make the whole scene look so lovely, and all your white painted furniture. Yes, keeping a can of white paint handy is not such a bad idea, things get a new lease of life and we end up saving lots, lol! Love what you've done, well done.

Hi Ana,

You need to go on HGTV and show them your makeover! It's glorious! Just beautiful. A job well done. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with your perception of the Romantic Homes article. That little bit of red ties it together nicely, doesn't it?

Have a good week,
