Christmas Sneak Peek

Happy Monday Everyone!

It'll be Thanksgiving in a few days and my hubby, daughter and I will be getting together with my in-laws and my sisters for our Thanksgiving feast. Yummo! However, all I have been able to think about is Christmas. I love's my most favorite celebration and time of the year. I look forward to it with great anticipation every year. It just makes me feel like a little girl again. Love the colors, lights, decorations, smells and tastes of Christmas, but most of all, I love the true reason for the season...Jesus!

Today, just because I simply cannot wait to start decorating and showing you our Christmas decorations, I wanted to share with you a little something that I picked up on Saturday at a thrift store for our Christmas tree.

I found these two beautiful cut glass ornaments. Aren't they gorgeous? Can you believe they were only .65 cents each!? How awesome is that? Too bad there were only two.

Here's a closer look at the beautiful detail. Love it!

Traditionally we start our Christmas decorating the Saturday after Thanksgiving...I just can't wait to start and to share pictures with everyone. Until then, I wish everyone a wonderful new week and a very blessed Thanksgiving.

Oh! A quick reminder that today is Show Off Your Cottage over at Cielo's The House in the Roses. Go take a peek and see what other participants are "showing off." Just click on Cielo's blog name and it will take you directly there.

Thank you all for stopping by.

Hugs and Kisses,

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog!
I'm so happy that you enjoyed the video. :)

I LOVE those glass ornaments! So delicate and lovely. You're right! Too bad there was only 2. It's hard to find things like that.. especially so cheap. I was out today looking at some decorations and $10 for one glass ornament!! Come on... Sheesh!

Anyhow. I love your blog.. and the name. Very sweet.

Take care!

What a great buy! The ornaments are lovely. There is another bazaar on the 1st and a British lady sells lovely glass ornaments that are so light and fragile. I think I may have to get some. I will wait until December 1st to start the holiday decorating. Wishing you a wonderful day. Tammy

Those are so pretty, why would anyone want to get rid of them, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones, I can't wait to start decorating for Christmas either, I usually decorate before Thanksgiving but I waited this year and I can hardly stand it any longer (;

Hello Ana, oooh your ornaments are so beautiful! They will look gorgeous on your tree...the stories they could tell of Christmases past... I love vintage Christmas things so very much... I got so excited, I couldn't wait to decorate until after Thanksgiving as I had planned... so, everything is all up at our house! I posted some of it on my blog already, I am not a patient person, was going to wait to do that too! What can I say... I love Christmas too! I am excited to see more of your decorations! Ana those are an awesome find! I love glass and sparkle at Christmas. These will be an amazing addition to your decor.
I am having a hard time not having at it with the decorating too. I started in earnest today, but only because I have the whole dinner to cook on Wed. and Thurs. I want things decorated so that the grandchildren can enjoy them while they are here.

Hi Ana,
Hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving. Those ornaments are simply gorgeous! Girl, did you ever get a good deal on those! Love them! Christmas is my favourite too, always was. I'm trying to get everything ready a little earlier this year because my baby boy is coming home on the 15th. I just took my fruit cake out of the oven and now it's cooling. Pretty much all the decorating is finished now which will leave me more free time to spend with my family and gift wrapping, etc. See you tomorrow for Pink Saturday. Oh, BTW, love the new look on your blog! Have a great weekend.
