Our Christmas Tree.

Whew! It's done! Our Christmas tree is up! Yay!

I've been busy decorating our petite cottage and I'm still not done, but since our tree is up I thought I would share some pictures.

Our colors have always been burgundy/red and gold. But in the last couple of years I've added white and pear green.
And this was our inspiration. This was the sphere that commemorated hubby's and my engagement. Although it was not the first ornament we bought together, it was the one that inspired our Christmas tree color scheme. Plus it also inspired me to create a different one each year to commemorate a special or important event that happened on that particular year.
I'll be posting about these, our most treasured ornaments throughout the month of December. There are 18 ornaments so far and I will be working on this year's soon!

On our tree you will find a lot of glass/crystal.

You'll find many of my fine feathered friends. Love my vintage birdies!
Many beautiful flowers...hydrangeas (my favorite), roses and poinsettias.

You'll find the first ornaments hubby and I bought after we were married for our very first Christmas together as husband and wife. Awwww! I ♥ this one.
Here's another.
And last but definitely not least is our beautiful tree topper with our cute little love birds. Aren't they the sweetest?
And here's a picture of our Christmas tree all lit up at night.

Thank you all very much for stopping by today.
I do hope you all enjoyed your visit and that you will come and visit again soon.
Wishing everyone a wonderful day!
Blessings to all.

Hugs and Kisses,

I'm loving her! Just my style. I have two trees. One with pinks in my den and one in my front room in reds. Toooo many traditional colors and keepsake ornaments to not have a RED ONE! Good thing I have tow rooms.

Everything you've done is just gorgeous my friend. You are sooo very talented.

Love, Rebecca

Wow! It looks really beautiful.
I love how your decorations have a story. That's very cool. I'm sorry that I didn't start that when my husband and I began our lives together.
Something to keep in mind to pass along to my kids though as they move on in their own lives.

Thanks so much for sharing. It looks lovely. Especially all lit up at night. Love it!
