My Jardin

It's been such a gloomy week all week and today it's even been drizzling a bit... Days like these just have a way of making me feel a little blue...As it is, I haven't had much energy or desire to do much of anything and this gloominess is just making it a little more difficult....However, there is one thing that seems to brighten my day no matter how gloomy....

My Garden

Please, won't you join me for a little tour of my petite jardin?

There's my sweet little garden angel tending to all our cute, feathered friend visitors.

This year my Agapanthus is blooming like crazy...Just lovely.

Say hello to Mr. Toad...I know he's enjoying the drizzle :-)

This is a new little area that we've been working on. It's still a work in progress... Did you see my new Hydrangea plants? One was a gift from my dad and the other from my hubby...How sweet is that?

Here's a closer look at the darker of the two Hydrangeas...This is the one my dad got for me.

We also planted some Lavender...per my hubby's request... Didn't know he liked it so much :-)

And this is my side patio.

I know my garden still has a ways to go, but if one day mines is half as beautiful as Ms. Vicki's from Bunny Cottage, Ms. June's from Laughing With Angels or Ms. Julie Marie's from Idyllhours then it will be a dream come true. Thank you sweet and lovely ladies for your friendship and inspiration.

Oh, and I mustn't forget... Below are pictures of my Hydrangea...the one I was waiting to see what color it would be...IT'S PINK!!!! Yay! My favorite color! I ♥ Hydrangeas!

Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit today.

Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Hugs and Kisses,

Hello Ana... you are much too kind, putting me in the same post as Vicki and June and their beautiful gardens! I DO love gardening though, have since I was just a little girl at my great~grandmother's, my grandmother and my mama's side... your Petite Jardin is beautiful! Your PINK Hydrangeas are gorgeous and how wonderful they are from your daddy and your hubby, making them even more special...I also love your little teacup birdfeeder and your angel who watches over your Jardin... Your side patio looks like such a nice place to sit and relax with an iced tea. I also love your little Home sign and your succulents! Gardening really does cheer me up always... I hope you feel better soon, and that the sun comes out soon! Happy gardening to you, and thank you so much for including me in your most special post! xoxo Julie Marie

Oh my Ana, I'm thinking there is no blue and gloom where you are! Everything is beautiful. The heat we have now just is not conducive to plant life. Boo! I look forward to summer rain showers in the States. Lord knows we don't get enough on this side of the world. :) All the best to you, Tammy PS I love the little bird banner flying across your page.

Your garden looks lovely! I completely understand your gloominess because the weather here has been rainy & cool and I'm feeling that in my mood. Here's hoping for sunny skies for both of us!

Oh, Ana, you are so sweet. Thank you for mentioning my garden. My garden is a true labor of love. I adore your garden. You definitely have that "cottage" feel going on. I want to get an agapanthus. I have always wanted one, and now that I have seen yours, I want one for sure. Your hydrangeas are beautiful, how sweet of your hubby and daddy. You are a doll, and I love everything about your sweet garden. I hope you have had a lovely week and wishing you the happiest of weekends, dear friend. Sending lots of love your way~ Vicki

I too am waiting for some sunshine so I can go outside and work on my yard. We are having a community garage sale this weekend. I think it will be fun. My grandsons are coming out to help.

Your garden is so pretty and we have been having much more rain then drizzle. It is so wet and we have had flooding in our area. I feel sorry for some because they have been flooded out so many times this year. It is hot and muggy here, Have a wonderful weekend.

Your garden is beautiful. I love your sweet patio. Go sit out on it, drink something refreshing and listen to the birds chirp. My mood is always good when I am out on my deck enjoying the views and sounds of sweet summertime.

Ana you are such a sweetheart! Thank you so much!
Your garden flowers are so lovely and I love your gorgeous choices. I am in love with your hydrangeas...the colors are beautiful! I wish that I could grow the pink and blue ones, but it is too cold here.
Your patio is such a beautiful space. I bet you love it out there! We really get a lot of use from our space...probably more than any other space in the house in the Summer.
I love that your husband asked for you to plant lavender!!!

Hi Ana, I posted a comment a couple of days ago and my computer shut down in the middle of it. It's getting old and not real reliable.
I have been thinking about you often, though, and wondering if you are feeling any better. A couple of weeks ago I had flu like symptoms, achy bones and muscles and VERY tired. Hopefully that is all you are experiencing, just a flu.
I love your garden, your lavender is so pretty and you hydrangeas are gorgeous! All of your little garden vignettes are especially nice, I am putting together a teacup on a spindle today as a matter of fact.
Big hugs to you my friend, Cindy S
