A Petite Cloche

It's a Cloche Party!

And it's all happening over at my dear friend Marty's blog A Stroll Thru Life.

Please click on the button above to take you over to the party and check out what Marty and other participants are sharing today, but before you go, won't you stay a while and see what I have to share?

This little vignette can be found on top of the bookcase I worked on a couple of months ago. (see here)

My little cloche was a thrift store find and I have decided to display a simple ball of twine inside of it...I just thought it looked very pretty. Oh, and the 2 hanging from the top of it is one of the old numbers from our petite cottage address which were replaced a few years back ...I tell you, I save everything...I knew that eventually I'd repurpose or reuse them somehow.

By the way, these pictures were taken by my daughter...It's such a dark space I just couldn't get the right pictures. But I knew that my very talented daughter would make them look gorgeous.

Here's another shot of my petite cloche.

For those of you who are gracious enough to follow me on a regular bases, this is where I decided to place the bookcase I worked on a few months back. So what do you think?

Thank you all so much for stopping by for a visit today.

And thank you Marty for always being such a wonderful hostess.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

Hugs and Kisses,

The number on your cloche is an eye stopper! Makes one go back and take another look..and sort of wonder..."where's number one?" :)
Loved it!

That's a very sweet cloche, I still don't have one. You can't buy them up here, waaa...sorry, I want one so badly. Anyway, I love where you put your bookcase and it looks really great there. It fits the space perfectly. Everything on it looks lovely, too.

This is just wonderful, Ana! I, too, never throw anything away. Whenever I do, I find I want it about a year later. LOL

Hello Ana my friend. It's exciting to be here today. Your bookcase turned out perfect and I would have put it in that darling small wall spot too. Love, Love your shelf and you cloche with the spool of twine in it. I am very jealous about your number. I can't find vinyal ones but I have seen the kind you have at hobby lobby. And your big C. Love that too. I have one of those in my sewing room. It stands for Cindy. What does yours stand for?

Love ya, enjoy you evening

Hello, Ana, my friend,
You always have the best ideas for things to display in your cloche!! I love the number hanging from it, and you are so smart to save things like this. I have a tendency to throw things away and then think of ways later that I could have used them for. Your white tea set is so charming. What a great buy!! And congratulations on your etsy shop. You will do great!! Have a blessed Sunday and terrific upcoming week~ Love always~ Vicki

Your vignette is just charming! I love the unexpectedness of the number 2 on the cloche and all the other elements of your display!

I saw your post below and have to tell you that I just found a creamer at Goodwill that looks like it's part of that set!
