Stool-tastic Makeover!

Hey everyone, I finished another project. Yay!!

I've had this plain old stool for a while now, it was a hand-me-down from my mother-in-law. Unfortunately it was just a little too tall for my kitchen counter so I asked my honey if he could saw off a bit of the legs so that I could get to working on it. By the way, this was one of those projects I had him work on last weekend...

Some sanding, a few coats of paint and some antique glaze later se fini.

I created the design on my photoshop program. Love that program!

I think it turned out simply stool-tastic! Hope you think so too.

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and wishing you all a wonderfully creative new week.

Hugs and Kisses,

Your stool is awesome. I was wondering at the beginning of the post what you could do with this simple stool. Well the stencil makes it! Great job and it looks so nice with the rest of your kitchen.

The stool is ADORABLE! Did you hand paint the design that goes around the printing? You did a great job, it is so nice, it looks wonderful in your pretty kitchen.

That turned out beautifully! I can't believe you designed that yourself on Photoshop. I took a class in that 10 years ago (forgot most of it) and would love to draw like that. What tool did you use to make the wreath? The stool just looks fantastic. Goes to show you how you can make just about anything pretty!
