New Old Chandy

This is one of two identical chandeliers we bought at an antique mall a long, long, long time ago...

They both had all but three of their original prisms.

I think I got a steal...Both chandys for only $60.
One of the chandeliers hangs in my petite living room. The other, I'm sad to say, sat in my garage forever... Until a few days ago.

My sweet hubby cleaned it up, rewired it and hung it up for me...It had been on his "honey do" list for a while now...

He said he thought it would make a good birthday surprise...
And it did!
And here it is in it's new home...I love it. Thank you honey.
By the way, this is the other side of our sweet suite which is finally all done now, yay!

Thank you all for stopping by today.
Hope you come and visit again soon.
Until then.

Hugs and Kisses,

Beautiful chandys! You certainly got them at a great deal too. It was so sweet of your hubby to get it all cleaned, wired & hung up for you.

The other half of your bedroom is just beautiful. That is one stunning armoire!

Hi Ana :) Those chandy's are just gorgeous, and yes, that was a very good buy for both of them! We have a crystal chandelier in our dining room that dates to the mid '70's, and would love to find one for our living room, but hubby would rather keep the ceiling fan/light fixture in there :( Oh well, perhaps I can find a cute petite one for my sewing room :)

Warmest hugs, Brenda

Some of our most beautiful treasures are those we've given new life to after finding them languishing somewhere, almost forgotten . . . I love your chandelier-it's gorgeous!

Very pretty Miss Ana, nothing brightens a room more(literately and visually)than a beautiful chandy dressed in light catching prisms.

Do you think Pepe will come rewire and hang my chandy for my birthday? lol
