There is something very appealing to me about collections...Any collection really, doesn't matter what the item being collected may be.

Could be as small as a button.

As original as tomato pincushions.

Beautiful white ironstone.

Keys...Love them all!

However, I do prefer smaller collections...

(Paul Luke and the world's largest collection of milk bottles)

Sometimes too much of a good thing is, well, too much? :-)

So, what do you like to collect?

*All pictures with the exception of the last one are from Country Living.

Hugs and Kisses,

I used to collect sheep (not live ones) until my son counted over 454 of them. Then I knew I had to stop. I become known as the 'Sheep Lady'. Now I keep my collections very small. Birds and birdcages, birdhouses. Anything white. Roses. Good friends.

Hey Ana, your lentil soup sounds very interesting, especially topped with banana. I do have one I make with brown lentils that my husband really loves. Haven't made any in a while so may have to give it a go here pretty soon. I love soup any time of year.

Seems the only thing I collect these days is dust bunnies with all the sandstorms we've been having. Ha! I used to collect teddy bears. Am drawn to hearts. I collect treasures from our travels. Thimbles. Spoons! That milk bottle collection is definitly over the top.

Have a great week. Tammy

I love them all.
I am not sure what I, there are things that I tend to look for when thrifting (such as glass pitchers that i already have to many of.)
Have a great week.

Hello Ana... I love collections too and have so many different ones myself... funny how just one pretty treasure soon turns into a collection... I would have to say my favorite "collection" is my happy childhood memories... xoxo Julie Marie

In high school I collected little pigs, stuffed ones, ceramic ones...anything pig!

Now I don't necessarily "collect" cherubs but I do think I have enough to qualify as a collection:)

To tell you the truth, I collect things without really knowing that I'm collecting them. Does that sound crazy?

I seem to have a thing for measuring cups lately. I keep buying them for no other reason other than I like them. What I'm going to do with them all, I haven't a clue! Dishes are a weakness for me too. As is milk glass.

Years ago I collected Dept.56 Snowbabies & the Snow Village too. Disney figurines as well. Then I ended up with too many pieces & had to stop collecting.

Hi Ana...I love collecting things. I seem to have an overload of roosters these days. Thanks for popping over to say Hi.

If I could, I would collect all sorts of china and purses! Unfortunately, I have to curb my collection tendencies, as I have no room and little money!

I'm not a big collect per say but I sure as heck love to have as many step ladders, stools and chairs as I can make room for!

What a statement each of those collections make! :o) I am beginning a collection of quilts, ones that I have made for our family. I will begin sewing our king sized quilt in the very near future, so we will use it regularly. :o) The other quilts I have made are used to snuggle under on the couch. :o) I would love each bed to have one!
Have a lovely week Ana. :o) Thank you for the kindest of comments left on my posts!
Sincerely, Trish
