Drawer Transformation...Finis!

Hi Everyone!

Remember a few days back I showed you this salvaged drawer I was going to work on?

Well it's all done and here it is...

All of you who guessed I would transform it into a doggie bed for our sweet little chihuahua....You were right :-)

My hubby added some feet that he cut out of a left over piece of wood at the bottom for a bit of height... Not too high though... Cookie is getting a little older and can't jump as high as she once could. Then I gave it a couple coats of paint, hand-painted La Petite Chienne, (The Petite Dog) and Chic Boutique.

Then I antiqued it with some glaze and as a final step I sewed a pretty and comfy little cushion for it. Tres frenchy, don't you think?

I think little Miss Cookie liked it.

So what do you think?

Hugs and Kisses,

This is beautiful Ana! A doggie bed fit for a princess and I bet that Miss Cookie loves it. This was a clever idea and I'm impressed that you hand painted the lettering.

Have a good week, my dear.

Oh Ana,
I love it...how adorable and very creative! You hand painted La Petite Chienne..Wow...your hand writing is beautiful, I wish I had pretty hand writing but I don't, Oh well (big sigh)I think my grand-daughter has better hand writing then me LOL.
I hope you feel better :(
Colds are not fun. I have been sneezing a lot from the wind and all the pretty flowers.
Have a sweet day and big hugs my dear friend, Elizabeth

Querida Ana,

What great foresight you had! That is the sign of a true artist, seeing the beauty in all things and creating a picture in your mind of what it's full potential can be.
It is absolutely gorgeous, I wish my boudoir was as fancy as Cookie's. lol

What do I think?
I am so happy to meet and follow you! That's what!
This is the most adorable project I have seen for a little four legged friend!
Simply magnifique!

Stop in sometime.
Ciao Bella!
