Feeling Nostalgic

♪♫♪ Doe- a deer, a female deer

Ray- a drop of golden sun

Me- a name I call myself

Far- a long long way to run

Sew- a needle pulling thread

La- a note to follow so

Tea- a drink with jam and bread

That will bring us back to do... oh oh oh ♪♫♪

Funny, I don't know why, but this morning I woke up with this song in my head. It was one of my favorite songs when I was a little girl and now every time I hear it it brings back sweet childhood memories. One memory in particular that comes to mind is of a special little tresure which has had me looking for it like crazy this morning so that I may share it with you... Where could it be?...

Ah, there it is! I found it!

Isn't it cute? But what is it? Well it's my....Wait a sec...I've got an idea. How about if you try to guess what it is. The first person to leave me a comment on this post with the correct guess gets a little surprise. Doesn't that sound like fun? Alright then...Happy Guessing.

Wishing you all a ♫Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Ti, Do♫ day :-)

Hello dear friend... I am going to guess it was a little Easter basket made by your mama perhaps when you were a little girl? (can't see the back but I am guessing it is a little basket)... it is adorable whatever it is, and brings you happy memories!... xoxo Julie Marie

Did it hold a radio that played this little tune?? Or an Easter basket?? It sure is sweet! blessings ~ tanna

Now that tune is in my head! ♥ that movie. Did you see when all the "children" and Julie Andrews were on the Today show?

Well, I was going to say a basket, but Julie already guessed that, so let's see, I'll guess a planter :)

Hi Ana,
Is it a toilet roll holder? Or a napkin holder or a paper towel holder. It is a very sweet bunny, that's all I know for sure.
Yesterday I was listening to the grass hoppers singing "the hills are alive with the sound of music", the grass hoppers make beautiful music.
Hugs, Cindy

Oh how I love The Sound of Music! I'll probably go to bed shortly & wake up singing this now. LOL

I don't have a clue what that cute bunny could be. Hmmm...I almost want to say a record player or cassette player, but that can't be, can it?

My daughter, Heather sent me to look at your wonderful chair! Wow, you did such a great job, I was thinking about trying something like this myself and this is a great inspiration.

Hi Ana! I have no idea, but you know how much I adore bunnies!

My daughter and I were singing "Doe" in the car the other day! That's one of those songs that you just can't help but sing aloud!

my dear and sweet friend how much I missed you! I arrived at the post where you showed that you had to make changes to the chair and I was curious with all this time :(
I saw the pages of the blogs (that I remember the name) completely white. and do not yet know why.
Luckily now I can see your wonderful, incredible masterpiece. I do not know if you realized that I love your creations, there is not one thing I did not like put in my house. I'm in love of your armchair. Ana compliments! What did they say at home?

I like also your happy post:) I hope your good mood lasted long. now I am going to try this song because it just did not know it:) but I'm curious. super hug dear Ana.

ahh! l'oggetto misterioso potrebbe essere una scatolina portamatite? o una scatolina per la merenda, o portapranzo per bimbi? non so :) forse sto dicendo ciò che vorrei che fosse ;P
