Just Do It!

Hi Everyone!

I've had this project in my garage...f o r e v e r...Remember this curbside find from a long while back?...(Click here to see.)

Well this last Monday it finally came out of the garage. It's finally cleaned and in the house and ready for me to start on. But....I'm having such a hard time starting. I keep putting it off one more day.

First I have to detach the back seat cushion and make a separate cushion, then I have to patch up the hole that it will leave, then I have to sew a slipcover for the chair and ottoman and then...Whew! I'm tired already, maybe I can start on it on Monday...Arrrg! I just need to do it!!! I could use a bit of encouragement...:-)

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend.

Oh, but before I go I wanted to thank everyone who left such sweet birthday wishes for my mother-in-law...A great big hug and thank you from the both of us.

**Giveaway Reminder***
Last day to enter is Aug. 14, 2011 if you haven't done so yet...Click on the sidebar picture for more details...Thank you.

Hugs and Kisses,

I just know that you will take that beat up old blue chair & ottoman, and make every one of us envious by turning it into pure loveliness. It's a big job, but I know you can do it!

Hi Ana Sweetie...
Oh I love this chair. I can't wait to see your finished project. Break it down into parts sweetie. Don't look at the big picture. Set up certain things to do for each day that you want to set aside the time. If you take it all in, in one day, it is exhausting. I know it will be gorgeous, and a curb fine to boot. WOW. It looks very comfortable.

This is the Miracle Weekend makeover. I am one of the hosting sites. For every comment left, Guideposts magazine will pay a dollar, to the next cancer makeover patient. Please stop by and read the story about 9 year old Charlie, and bless me with a comment. Out goal between the 4 or 5 blogs is 5,000. I know we can do it. I would appreciate it, if you pass the word around to as many friends as possible.

Thank you sweetie for a wonderful post. I love it. Have a glorious weekend. Country hugs from Phoenix, Sherry

Hello Ana,

I used to make my heart. It's alot of fun and super easy.

Good luck on redoing your chair. I have one that I have been trying to make a slip cover for and can't seem to get to it. Actually, I think I'm scared to tackle it. Have a great weekend Ana.

Hi Ana, You have done an awesome job on your chair and ottman. Your post title reminded me of my 6 year old turning 7 in October. Just do it is one of his saying when somebody tells him they are not going to do it. He tells them just do it and get it over with. He is the one holding the tropy in my last post. Have a great weekend Your Missouri Friend.

Hi Ana, you have a big task to tackle but I am sure looking forward to photos of the new look! I also put projects off until one day I just tell myself I am going to do it TODAY and then it always feels good when it is finished. Have a great day.
