Summer Vacay!

Graduation ceremonies and get-togethers are over, last day of school hustle and bustle is over, Father's Day celebrations are over so you know what that means, don't you?....

(Cute little "Vacation Count Down" was found by my daughter at one of our favorite thrift stores.)

**Summer Vacay has Officially Started**

As a stay-at-home mom I am on the clock 24/7/365....So being able to sleep in a bit during the summer because school is out well, certainly feels like a vacation to me....Hee, hee, hee.

I am so looking forward to all the summer fun with my daughter. What about you? Do you have any summer plans?

Wishing everyone a fantabulous day!

Hugs and Kisses,

Hey sweet friend! I had my summer pretty well planned out and there has been a wrench thrown into it in the form of a trip back to my daughter's house. I was just there two weeks ago. It appears that she is going to need a fairly major surgery, and someone needs to take care of her children while she recovers and gains back her mobility.
It's a knee replacement that has broken twice now since she had it done when she was 16 yrs. old, due to cancer. We shall see.
I hope you have a fun Summer vacation!
Hugs, Cindy

My sweet friend, I'm glad you're so happy. Tomorrow I get the first visit to the estate agency and a person concerned. hopefully good :)
would be a great stroke of luck to sell this first visit :) 'I will devote the summer to sell the house. to go before all the other summers happily, to the sea..

I've actually on a week of vacation right now. Between spending time with each of the grandchildren and finishing up some projects around the house, the days fly by so quickly. I'm hoping for some good weather so we can get our kayaks on the water for the first time this year!

And my husband is working this week, but I'm sleeping in when I can. :@

I am so with you---I count the days til the kids are out of school! I LOVE to sleep in. Heard from the school today though about when my disabled son, Gage, starts the summer program. He goes 6 weeks and the bus will be here at 7:08 am. I dread that. Oh well, still have a week to sleep in and then all of August:)

I like quiet mornings now that summer vacation is here. And the fact that I don't have to wash school uniforms every day. :) I definitely enjoy my piddling days at home. Have a fantastic summer! Tammy

I completely understand. I feel the same way too. We are hoping to maybe get out of town for a few days, but we haven't planned anything yet!

I love the little vintage beach sign - too cute!

I have a busy summer planned! My son is currently in Australia for a month - while he is there, I am planning a get-together this weekend for 12 stitching friends at my place.

When my son returns from Australia, I'm driving him up to Chicago to visit his other grandmother for 2 weeks.

Enjoy your summer!

Hi Ana,
Oh my, I do love this fun it is and its so full of whimsy.
I love the girls laying on the sand just enjoying the day. I know you will make everyday special this summer and I'm all in for sleeping late..
No real plans yet, I think we will just enjoy our pool and back yard and finish up the painting of the crown molding.
Love to you and big hugs, Elizabeth

I am a teacher and tomorrow morning is my first real day of vacation. I don't sleep in - too much I want to do, but I am looking forward to doing whatever I feel like. Enjoy your vacay!

Oh yes! I always have summer plans. I'm a teacher so that's when I can tackle some of those projects. Right now my daughter and I are working on redecorating her little playhouse. It's going to be a girls' clubhouse. We are having a blast! Of course, it wouldn't be summer without a jaunt to the beach. Going in just a few weeks. Can't wait!!!!
