Guest Post

Hello dear Bloggers, my name is Jose, or better know on this blog as Ana's hubby. She's been after me for quite some time to do a guest post, so I decided to finally oblige as she has been working on a project that I am very excited about.

Every once in a while, I will challenge my better half to do something that stretches her creative abilities, knowing full well that when everything is said and done, she will always exceed every one of my expectation. As I'm sure many of you are familiar with the "creative process", you'll understand when I say that it is sometimes a very unpleasant experience to watch, especially when that person is as much a perfectionist as my wife is. But the product of Ana's creativity never cease to amaze me.

I have always loved science fiction. I remember growing up being glued to the television monitor while watching shows like The Time Tunnel, Land of the Giants, and Lost in Space. You might even call Sci Fi an obsession of mine. Being referred to as a "nerd" or "geek" has never bothered me. I wear those badges with honor.

About a year ago, Ana and I had just finished watching the TV series called Serenity and we were looking for a new show to watch. Someone recommended Doctor Who, the story of a Time Lord who uses a blue police box to travel through time. Needless to say, we've been hooked ever since. We enjoy the show so much, that when the opportunity presented itself, I quickly suggested Doctor Who as inspiration for one of her cloth doll designs. And just to make sure that she would bite the lure, I added that it would probably be much too difficult to make such a doll. Well, the rest is history. Without further ado, I am proud to unveil the project that has consumed my wife's time for the last couple of months. Hope you like it as much as I do.
Meet the 10th Doctor, our favorite. And for you Whovians out there, yes, this is the wrong TARDIS background, but as River Song would say, "spoilers" ;-)
And here's The Doctor styling his ever handy Sonic Screwdriver.
And here is a close up of his adorable face.

Hope you've enjoyed it. Until next time...Allons-y

I don't know if I should use the word adorable to describe your new doll or the word awesome. It is amazing and I really like your new doll and enjoyed your guest blogger today. I know Ana you are very creative and I haven't heard of anything that you can't do. Have a wonderful day, hope sunshine. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.

Nice to meet you, José!

Now, don't go touching this and that in ANA's blog or not even her creative Genious will handle the mess men are prone to on this environment.

I can't say I'm a SciFi fan... Ana will tell you I'm an emotional coward affraid of my own thoughts and those producers - and their fans :hint: - really have a too vivid mind for my condition ;) ahahahah so I stay clear with the occasional stop on that channel and thoughts of "I hope I survive this"... but of course I already knew that if anyone could help me overcome my quirks it would be Ana and her sweet and Amazing Creations.

And this one is really SciFi for me as in OUT OF THIS WORLD Amazing!!! (though fans of Castle will also love the little man)

Thank you for making the Guest Post - make sure you hit the right button for my comment (that would be the "publish" one ahahah) - and go back to inspiring Ana and joining her in the success path that I wish for and you both deserve.

Take Care,

P.S. Make sure to tell Ana I want to "talk" with her soon. Hugging you both!

Oh my gosh! That is amazing!!!!! Oh, and nice to meet you Jose. I knew that Ana was very talented and I've seen her beautiful dolls, but this one blew me away! I love it! My son Richie watches Doctor Who once in a while, he loves the show and also Top Gear (the Brittish version). I'm going to show him this post, I'm sure he will enjoy it, and say Hi to Ana for me and tell her that she is amazingly talented!

Dr. Who is such a delightful cloth doll. You put so much work into making him, and he turned out wonderful. What a cute story. I just love all your dolls.

Wow! She did a great job! I don't know anything about Dr. Who except that our son, when he was in Grad School wanted me to knit him a Dr. Who scarf. I thought that scarf was long gone until a few months back, I saw a picture of his 1 1/2 year old son with the scarf wrapped around his neck and dragging the floor behind him.
I love a husband that appreciates his wife's talents. Good for you!
