Christmas Dress

Hi Everyone!

Today is Wednesday Wee Ones over at my sweet friend Diane's blog, Welcome to Lavender Dreams. Do you know what that means? It means we get to play dress up with our dollies...Yay!

Today Jesse Sue is modeling the pretty dress I made for her to wear on Christmas...Which by the way is only 9 days away! Can you believe that?
She is a sweet vintage doll so I decided to make her something classic and what's more classic for Christmas than a red velvet dress?
Doesn't she look sweet?
I think she really liked her new dress :-)
Well, looks like she is all set for Christmas...Are you?

Thank you so much for stopping by.
Wishing you all a wonderful Wednesday.

Hugs and Kisses,

Ana, I loved the red velvet dress. So sweet. One year when all my daughters had out grown a red velvet dress I hung onto...I cut it up and made Christmas stockings for them and embroidered their Initials on them. They are pretty worn now , but I still have those stockings. Blessings to you, xoxo,Susie

So fun! And she looks so pretty! And I'm NOT ready for Christmas quite yet. Can't believe it's almost here.

Oh my! How sweet is that! I love red velvet and know how hard it is to sew but it is perfect for this little Christmas Princess. She reminds me a little of Shirley Temple. I remember Shirley had the cute little short dresses. I'm so happy you joined in today. How I wish we were all close enough to play together! Holiday hugs, Diane

Nothing says Christmas like a classic red velvet dress! Your little dollie is adorable in her festive attire, and your work is exquisite as usual, Ana. I made black velvet dresses for our girls one year, so I know how difficult it can be to work with (the seams were coming apart after the first wearing- hehe). Thanks for sharing!

Anna, she's as cute as a button!!! What a beautiful dress you made for her. I checked the calendar, you must have the same one that's on my computer! With my mental calendar I still had two week...YIKES, I need to get busy! Best ~ Mickie.

What a sweet doll. I love the dress. I had turquoise/aqua colored velvet dress that my mom made when I was 3 or 4 and it was similar in style to the one you made. So sweet. xoxo Su

How beautiful, Ana! You did a wonderful job sewing her velvet dress. I am horrible at clothes - well, using patterns for them anyway. I'm not sure why.
